Oh Bummer!

That's one of Kemiah's favorite things to say, and she uses it appropriately. It fits for this new trick she has learned. Background: She is a little troublesome with the other kids in the mornings so I usually leave her in her crib until we are ready for her. Usually not a big deal - she just enjoys laying in bed sucking her thumb. Well, this morning, I heard her say, "hi Daddy." She was not in her crib. I asked Kevin if he got her out. No. I didn't either. The kids didn't either. Oh bummer! She figured out how to climb out of the crib and actually did it. I guess she was tired of waiting for me. No big deal, I thought. Then when I went to get her up from her nap she was actually at the door ready to come out. Man! Now I just put them all to bed and, sure enough, she got out again and came to the kitchen. I carried her back and explained that it is night time and she needs to go to sleep and STAY IN her bed. We'll see if it works.
