I just thought I'd let you all know that
Kemiah is sleeping a little better these days. Yes, she still wakes up
occasionally and then goes right back to sleep but at least it looks like she is more comfortable. Before we moved to the island, we bought a port-a-crib from some people who were leaving the island when we were coming in. When we opened it up, we realized it was a smaller version than what we were expecting. We decided we'd see how long it would last, because it was fine for the time. Well, she finally got to the point where she was pushing on the walls and had to sleep diagonal or bent up a bit. Luckily, one of our friends that left the island had a crib so we bought it from them. It fits in the bedroom with the rest of the kids and now she has more room. I guess she doesn't really need it though because she is so used to sleeping in a smaller area. She does move around a bit while she sleeps so maybe she does enjoy the extra room. Here are pictures to show the difference.

The bedding is fitting for a girl so we lucked out on that one. We sold the port-a-crib to a couple that just got here but they will probably have to buy a crib because their baby will out grow it as well - but not for a while because he's only 3 months old. So they can have our crib if he lasts a
couple semesters, like
Kemiah did.
