This is why it takes so long to build stuff here.

So the apartment building behind our house is starting to work on the upper level. I'm not sure if they are adding another story of apartments or if they are just finishing the roof. I saw them out working and thought I'd take some pictures. There was a guy on the roof and a guy on the ground. The guy on the roof tosses down a rope with a hook on the end. The guy on the ground fills the bucket and puts it on the hook or puts a cinder block on the hook. Then the guy on the roof hauls it up. I must tell you the guy on the roof has massively cut muscles in his arms and back. I thought it was kind of amazing. I saw it done this way at another place but they had a pulley system set up. This guy was just muscling the bucket and blocks up on his own. Wow.
