Exploring a new beach.

I really need to announce my Thursday Activities to my friends before Thursday morning, if I ever want them to come with me. I'll work on that. Today, we walked farther down the beach near campus than we have ever been before. I wanted to snorkel but since no one else played with us I couldn't leave the kids alone on the beach so I just played with the kids. We enjoyed the shallow water, playing with crabs, and cleaning up some trash as we walked on the beach. We also went to the RSO (Ross Spouse Organization) social to play with friends, and then cleaned up at the pool for a short time before heading home. It was a full day of fun and I got the kids to bed a little early.

So we had a good time, and we'll probably go again, with friends, so that we can snorkel and see what there is to see below the water line. It was a beautiful day and we had fun together - I really enjoyed walking down the beach with all my kids counting with me. I'd say a number and they would all say the next number, and we counted like that for a while. Then we picked up trash so that was fun too!

That beach looks really pretty! I wish we could have joined you. I was planning on it yesterday and then just felt I needed a "no sun" day today:) It's just wearing me out a bit!
We'll have to go back there though... the sand looks lighter than at PBH, no?

We would come play with you! I'd go back to that beach if I were you. I can't get people to go with me places around here. I'm trying not to take that personally ;)
