Today is Kevin's first day back at school as a Fourth Semester Medical Student. This is our last semester on the island - we have plane tickets to leave Dec 18, the day after his last final. I have mixed emotions about leaving, but I think it will be the best thing for our family. I'm a little scared of the conditions we will find ourselves in America, because of all the strange things I hear Obama is doing. Kevin has been busy this break trying to get some things in order and reorganizing the branch a bit - didn't get as much studying done as he wanted to be prepared for this semester. I was released on Sunday and I have mixed emotions about that as well. Anyway, we are going to try and see lots of new places this semester so that we can leave the island with more fantastic memories. Now if all my kids would kick the cough they have then maybe they wouldn't be so cranky and irritable!

Update: I don't have a new calling yet. I am hoping to have something for this last semester or I might go crazy. I really dislike having no calling at all when I'm still very much alive and here and well. We'll see. For now I'm just planning on being the best visiting teacher ever - because it really is that important.

what is your new calling by the way?! I'm excited for the new experiance coming your way! I heard your kiddies coughing Sunday and I hope that they feel better soon- I hate when kids are sick- it's so much worse than for adults :(
Congratulations on it being last semester! Woohoo. It is my hubby's last semester as well. Such a relief to almost be done. Yes, yes... Obama is crazy. Have a fantastic time with your beautiful family on that beautiful island!
