I thought it out so well...

And yet I didn't think about bringing our swim stuff so we could stop at the pool. I took Ben to the clinic on campus because he complained Saturday about his ear hurting and he has had a cough/runny nose sickness for a week or so. I figured it moved to his ear and it was infected. The doctor confirmed that and gave us a prescription for antibiotics. We stopped by the pharmacy and then went to James' store to pick up a few things. Unfortunately they didn't have any gas so I brought the empty tank just for fun. Bummer. We headed down to the housing office to buy electricity and that is right by the pool. If I had thought it out a little better we could have had lunch at the pool and gone swimming. Well, I did let the kids go swimming. They took off their shorts and just went swimming in their underwear and shirts. At least no one got sunburned. They had a good time and just dried off as we walked all the way home. they were still a little damp when we arrived at the house but no one complained or asked if they could change their clothes. Now Ben has medicine and hopefully the rest of us will overcome the sicknesses we have so that no one else gets an ear infection. I guess it all worked out in the end... Now I just have to figure out what to have for dinner!
