I have shared 9/11 with my kids before and we talked a bit about it today. My son just can't understand how the bad guys got into the cockpit and how the whole thing took place. He just can't understand. I'm not sure I understand. How can anyone feel so good about killing so many people? It's one of those things that I can't really comprehend. I don't think I know anyone, personally, who was killed. I don't think that matters. I am so grateful to all those people who are willing to fight for my freedom. I am so grateful for the liberties I have and I wish everyone would understand the need to help each other. To work together. To love others. The answer is not killing or fighting but there is a need to protect and defend ourselves. Thank you, to those who are willing to fulfill those roles!

That is very well put. I couldn't agree more. Even though I didn't know anyone either, I still feel some strong connection to the sad events of 9/11.
