So, today I took the kids in for the flu shot. We all got the shot and you should have seen the look on the receptionists face. "You want the shot for all of them? You have to pay for them. Do you know how much they cost? Do you want your total before you get the shots?" Those were a few of her questions for me. Finally she did let us all come in and I went first. Then
Kemiah,
Xiomara and Emily (who only whimpered before she got the shot). Then it was time to pull a crying Marissa out of the corner and I had to chase Ben down and get him back into the room, screaming and crying. Are you kidding me? Their younger siblings took it like it was nothing and they were off their rockers. Marissa said later, "Can I have another one? I won't cry this time." I hope she remembers that for next winter. Crazy kids. Our shoulders are all a little sore now but we survived.
