Musical moment

I was doing dishes or something in the kitchen and decided I wanted to listen to music. It's something I don't do very often. I turned on my computer, hooked up the external speakers and turned up the volume so we could all hear Beethoven. A couple of my kids gathered to listen. Then Ben runs off and I hear him say, "Marissa! Come on, there's MUSIC!" How was I to know they would really enjoy it? Well, of course they would. They even collected the three school chairs and two other chairs so they could sit while they listened. Then I noticed that they were pretending to play instruments - violin and flute. They also displayed their dancing abilities and it was pretty awesome to watch, from a mothers point of view. I guess we need to listen to good stuff more often.

After a little while, Marissa and Ben did end up wrestling and so that kind of ruined the moment. Luckily, we were able to calm down and return to enjoying the classical music.
