I got it!

After the Halloween party we went to fill up water by the Anatomy lab. Then we headed to the main gate to leave campus. When I got there I was excited. The Iguana Crossing sign was back in its place and there were two iguanas on the other side of the street - so I was set up to get the picture I wanted. Then a truck came and parked in front of the sign so we waited, and waited. The truck left and we worked on getting the iguanas to cross the road. While we were waiting the security guard told us about people eating the iguana. The flesh is nice and it tastes good, is what he told us. But you can't just eat them whenever, there is a season - sort of like deer hunting season. I'm certain that is a meal I could not fix. Anyway, eventually we were able to get the iguana to cross the road and I was able to get some pictures! After I was done the kids chased it up a tree. Kemiah came back from the guava orchard and noticed the iguana was gone. She said, "Where dinosaur?" That's pretty close. I pointed up the tree and she found it. I thought it was a great moment!

Here they are on the wrong side of the road.

And I thought I'd add a close up picture of the sign. Too cool and I know you wish you had one too.

SO perfect! I love the iguana crossing in front of the sign, nice photography! Kemiah's dinosaur comment is pretty stinkin' cute.
