Plan B

We wanted to take a trip around the island last Thursday (1/8) but our driver wasn't available until Friday so we stayed around the neighborhood. We walked to the "resort" next door and found a couple holes of hot water bubbling in the forest. (One of the guys that works there showed it to us.) I was able to get some pictures of a couple hawks flying around our house - although most of them are fuzzy because the camera had a hard time focusing on the birds in the sky. After lunch we went to the pool and had a good time, even though it rained while we were there. (Who cares, you're already wet.) We got home in time for me to make dinner so I made scroodles. (I'm not really sure how to spell that...) I actually made it up from memory because my mom couldn't find her recipe and it turned out just fine - the kids actually ate it even though it had tomato sauce in it. It was a low key day but I thought I'd share some pictures - that's what this is all about, right?

These are some really pretty flowers in the top of a really tall tree.

I guess Kemiah was thirsty.
