We had German pancakes for dinner tonight and we had sour cream to go with them! It's a must for our family so we haven't had them for a while because sour cream is hard to come by on the island. Lucky for me our neighbor owns a restaurant in town that has it shipped in and sells it - if they have enough to spare. We caught her on her way to work the other day and I asked if they had any and she said yes. Lucky for me, they have free delivery on orders greater than $30 EC and that's what 2-12 oz. containers of sour cream cost. So today, I called and placed the order and within an hour a guy was at my door with sour cream. That is just so sweet! Now we can have fajitas - especially since Kevin is going to market in the morning with Ben and Marissa and will pick up some peppers and avocados for guacamole! I'm so excited and getting a bit hungry! Just thought I'd share my joy with you!
Oh, and since I'm talking about cooking... I made bagels with the kids this morning and mango cookies this afternoon. Both turned out great and we had a fun day of baking. I'm sure we'll be needing a new gas tank soon.
