This time it was Kemiah. She fell backwards and hit the crown of her head on the corner of the wall. It made a small split and started bleeding. I think Marissa was the most affected, although Kemiah did cry a lot. Jay, a father friend who was visiting, got to her first and brought her to me. I had time to grab napkins and then tried to figure out where she was bleeding. Eventually she sucked her thumb so it was easier to hold the napkins in the right place. It stopped pouring out blood and was just leaking it for a little while. I would dab the wound every now and then but that was about it. Now it has a nice scab on it. It might be a scar because there was no way to really close the wound and I figured no one will see it if it does scar so we don't need stitches for this one. She has been fine ever since so there won't be any lasting effects from the accident. Good job baby!
Here she is the next day, playing with her favorite baby doll. She is doing fine and has probably forgotten all about the cut/scab on the back of her head.
