Baby talk

Here's the conversation we had at breakfast this morning...

M - I saw Mom's tummy the other day and said, 'You're having a baby.' Mom said, 'No I am not.'

B - Mom isn't having a baby here.

E - Nope. And if she did it wouldn't be ours.

Me - Why not?

E - Because it wouldn't look like us. It would be black.

I thought it was funny that Emily thought the baby would be black since all the babies in Dominica are black. At least I think that's what she thought.
