3... 2... 1...

I started off with three kids Tuesday (5/26) evening. Kevin took the two oldest to ESL class. Emily was a little slow at dinner so she was very sad when they left without her.

She recovered quickly.

Kemiah had no nap today so she fell asleep in her highchair during dinner. I moved her to the tile floor in the living room, hoping she wouldn't like it but it didn't phase her one bit.

After I was done clearing the table, I took the two that were awake outside to see a cool bug. Unfortunately it was gone so they didn't get to see it but I did show them pictures. (I got the pictures when the others left for class. It's the yellow striped one in the other post.) Then it was time to start the nightly routine. Emily got her journal, Xiomara sat down on the couch to read and Kemiah woke up for dinner.

Kemiah is now very determined to feed herself so we are working through this stage and she is actually pretty good. (Should it be "doing pretty well"?)

While I was doing dishes, Kemiah was eating, Emily was writing in her journal, and Xiomara fell asleep. I put her to bed and then put Kemiah to bed when she was done eating. So I was left with Emily for our nightly routine. She thought that was pretty neat. She sat next to me while we did our stuff. Then it was time for bed. It was a nice night and I was glad to have the time with Emily.
