Another bad bonk

Xiomara was outside playing, yesterday, and I was inside getting ready for Joy School. Our friend was going to be there any minute and I was trying to get some things ready for the lesson. Then I heard Xiomara start crying and two of my kids came running into the house shouting, "Xiomara is bleeding!" Oh boy. It was another head wound and I think I need to tell my kids they can get her a tissue to cover the cut so she doesn't bleed all over herself and the ground. The bleeding stopped quickly and I saw a little cut that is pretty deep. I knew the clinic would probably just give us Steri-Strips. That is what they did the last time she cut her head open and this cut was even smaller, but deep. I called Kevin and asked him to go to the clinic and get the strips and bring them home at lunch time. I made do with a bandaid that I cut to try and keep the wound closed until I got the strips. Our friend showed up and we had Joy School and Xiomara has been fine. The Steri-Strips are working great and she doesn't play with the bandaid so I think it's going to heal up well.

You can see that she really hit her head on the edge of the concrete because of the huge red line that is pretty big. I'm glad the cut isn't that big.

You can see the scar from her last wound on her forehead. That one didn't close very well so hopefully this one will do better.

Poor little baby with the big beautiful blue eyes! I hope she heals quick.
