I made up a song today, and I can't get it out of my head!
I have been singing it all day.
It must be a great song.
I wish you could hear the tune but I'll share the words:
Choose to be cheerful.
Smile all day long.
Laugh at your problems.
Overcome the bad.
We have been having a rough time at our house.
The kids fight and argue over the littlest things.
They pick at and tease each other.
They are not very nice.
And I had enough, so I made up the song.
Hopefully it helps us remember that it's up to us.
We can choose.
We can decide.
I need to make sure I'm doing those things
to set the example for the kids.
Maybe we are all a little bit dehydrated every day
so we are a bit irritable and quick to snap.
I guess I need to make sure we have water breaks.
