A few things I'm loving right now.

Other than life in general...

  • Noises at night - I'm not sure if it's bugs, bats, frogs, or something else, and I may never know.
  • Great winter weather - Most of the people I know back home are having the cold kind of winter weather.
  • 5 fantastic kids - how can you not love such adorable, sweet, funny, great kids?!
  • Honey - that's my name for him. He's great, even if he does have a head cold.
  • Jesus Christ - I guess he should be at the top but these are not in any particular order.
  • Family back home - they are always thinking of us. (aren't you?)
  • Great friends - we are sad to see so many of them leave for break and never come back. They are on to other things - have fun and good luck. We'll miss you. We look forward to the return of those who will be back next semester.
  • The uncluttered/simple life without excuses - we don't have a TV/cable (never have) and that's not weird here.
  • Linda - I'm so glad that we decided to hire her to help out in the mornings. It has made a difference in our lives.
  • My body - although I need to exercise I was able to climb a tree and the kids thought it was cool and I was glad I was able to get the rope for the tire swing out of the tree so we can use it again. My legs were a little achy later on but I have recovered.
  • Clean drinking water from the campus - luckily Kevin is willing to get two gallons every night so that we have water to drink the next day.
  • Hot water that comes out the kitchen sink faucet.
  • I love hearing the river that is across the street! It's awesome.

(The last two were added after we moved into the new house - but I started the post before we moved so it uses the start date, not the post date.)
