Okay, so she's not a baby and she wasn't really shot. But it sure looked like it. If Xiomara doesn't get a nap then she will most often not make it through our nightly routine. She will fall asleep on the couch or the floor or, on occassion, she has put herself to bed. You might think, "Why not give her a nap then." Well, if she does get a nap then she doesn't go to bed very well. She'll play a bit, sometimes get out of bed several times - "I have to go potty." "Can I have a drink?" "Is it time to get up yet?" - and it's just not worth it to me so I don't give her a nap very often. Of course, if she's falling asleep during lunch I'll put her down but I have to set an alarm to make sure she doesn't sleep too long. Oh the hard times for a toddler.

Very cute picture! I have a few like that of my kids too. I agree with you. When it came time to choose between naps or having my kids go to bed at night, I always chose bedtime. It made afternoons interesting sometimes, but always worth it when I could put them to bed and they would stay put!
Hey, on a side note can you e-mail me with your address. I know you sent it out before but I can't find it and I thought I'd send you a Christmas Card.
That is just crazy adorable!
