Dog sitting.

Yes, my kids love dogs. Well, all but Xiomara. We have some friends who live behind our house and they have a cute puppy named Kubuli. They have mentioned several times that they would bring the dog over so the kids could play with it but that has never happened. The kids mentioned this and decided that they must have forgotten. We saw them at the store earlier this week and they set a day and time! The kids were so excited. After lunch today, Ben asked when they were coming. We still had a couple hours. We worked on our paper mache projects and then it was 3:00, doggie time! Ben went outside to wait. Finally he saw them so the girls ran outside too. Xiomara got her shoes on and was outside until she saw Kubuli coming. I had to put her on my back to get her outside. Where was Kemiah, you might ask. She was running to greet the dog. It was really funny. The kids had Kubuli for 2 hours and they loved it. Xiomara ran around inside the house going to different windows to watch from a safe distance. I really don’t know why she is so afraid of animals. Oh well. Kemiah patted Kubuli in the face and the puppy didn’t do anything. She really is a great puppy – and I’ll enjoy borrowing her again some time.
