I'm in hot water.

I did some dishes with hot water the other day. Yes, the hot water actually came from my tap. I couldn’t have done that in the old house because there was no hot water. In our current house, there is a solar heating system on the roof and a storage tank so we actually have hot water available from all the faucets. We worried at first that we wouldn’t have enough hot water for showers at night so we never use it during the day. If it is nice and sunny though, the water gets pretty warm and we can enjoy a very nice, hot shower – which is fine if I haven’t just gotten home from the gym and my body is already hot. Anyway, I had some dishes that really needed hot water to be cleaned properly (although I’m really starting to feel like dishes aren’t really properly cleaned at all unless you use hot water) so I went ahead and used some from the tap. It brought back memories. It also raised my body temperature so I was sort of glad when I was done, but I did enjoy it.
