Marching Band!

No kidding – I had a fantastic marching band come through my house today (1/30). The kids all had comb kazoos. Marissa came running to me and said, “Mom! I can do what Ben and Emily can do! It tickles my lips.” They were going through the house humming a Church song. As I was ready to ask them what song – I was familiar with the tune, “Praise to the Man” but there is a Primary song that goes to the same tune so I wondered if that was what they were singing. Then I heard Ben sing some of the song and was happy to hear that it was “Praise to the Man.” Later Marissa said, “Mom, we are singing about Joseph!” And then Emily said, “Jehovah is Jesus and Lucifer is Satan.” It was just a statement that she thought she should share. (There’s a part in the song that says Jehovah so she wanted to make sure I knew who he is.) It was fun!
