How we learn.

Kemiah has figured out how to get onto the chairs around the dining room table. That is where the older kids do their morning worksheets, sometimes color, and help with food preparation. She will even push the chair around to where she needs it so she can see better. I'm very glad that she is pretty good about sitting or kneeling. It was just so sweet to see her watching her older siblings and they love the attention, and they like to help so it's fun for everyone. She has also found the joy of creating pictures with crayons. She will do okay, we just have to watch and make sure she doesn't take a bite out of it while she is coloring. She will draw a bit and then look up to tell me something about it, then she'll draw a little more. She is very protective about her pictures as well, so if anyone even gets close to her paper she screams to let them know she doesn't want them to do that.

This time she couldn't quite get her chair all the way up to the table and she was sitting so she couldn't see very well but she was happy just to be in the chair near the work taking place. Funny girl.
