I'm not kidding.

So, I just thought I'd share the newest arrival on our little island. Okay, so it's been here since February and I'm just now posting. It's also not that big of a deal but I took pictures so I figure I can go ahead and post them. Anyway, it was all very exciting to the locals when the KFC opened. It provided jobs and now it's providing food. Mostly I see the trash that people throw on the ground after they are done with the food. That's a real bummer. My kids ask me about eating there and really, we never ate there in America so why eat it here? Besides, I have no idea how much it would cost to feed our whole family, and I'm not sure I want to find out. I also heard that it's not as good as the KFC that is down in Roseau so I really think we're okay. I have asked the kids, "What do you think they serve there?" Their response, "I don't know but I'll eat it." Silly kids.

As I watched it being built I thought I knew what was going on. It wasn't until they put up the sign for the drive-thru that I realized I had it all figured out backwards. I was figuring on cars like we have back in the states - we drive on the left side. Here they drive on the right side so it was backwards from what I thought would happen. Silly me. I also think the bright red building detracts a bit from the landscape, but maybe that's just me.
