Almost forgot to mention...

Ben finished first grade! Yes, I started the program almost 2 years ago but we started out doing it just three days a week and then we stopped completely when we packed up and cleaned out and moved from Alaska to the island. Then we started up and tried to do it at least 4 days a week. Then in January or sometime after that we decided we needed to do it 5 days a week to finish by June. Well, we finished July1! He was able to complete several things and do well on our "tests" so he feels good. We are taking the next few days off to clean the house and get rid of piles. We will start up with second grade on Monday, and the girls will join in. They have been doing the first grade level but they are about 63 lessons behind Ben. Instead of doing two different classes with different material, we will just have one class and hopefully they will work well together.
