Believe it or not my kids always want to help me with the dishes. They want to wash, rinse and dry but usually I just let them rinse and put it in our drainer thing. I think they just like being in the kitchen, playing in the water, and spending alone time with me. I guess it all works out and the dishes get done. I try to rotate through the kids so that they each get a turn. Once I was trying to get something else done so I let Marissa wash and Ben rinse. It wasn't until I put the dishes away that I realized the bowls weren't quite clean. Oh well. As I took these pictures of Xiomara she said, "Emily helped, too. You should take her picture." I thought it was cute that she would think of her sister, who had just been helping but didn't get her picture taken.

That's too cute. Kenley loves to help in the kitchen, too. Don't you love that you have almost enough helpers that a different little cutie can help you each night of the week?! :)
how cute! you should write a parenting book. i do not remember once WANTING to help my mom with the dishes. :)
