Bugs in my food. Most of the stuff you get from the grocery store is fine. There are a few items that you have to be careful about: Cream of Wheat, oats, and pasta. Some times I pour my Cream of Wheat from the box into the plastic tub through a wire mesh screen to catch any bugs. The oats are a bit tougher and you have to had pick anything that is bad. The pasta is even harder. If you find you brought home a package of buggy pasta you have to look at each individual item to make sure the bug has put it's worm baby in the pasta. I bought some packages of spaghetti noodles and noticed a few days later that they had bugs. So, I cut them open, one by one, searched the noodles and tossed out the ones I thought had worms - it's a whiter spot on the pasta. It can be on the end or in the middle. I put all the noodles that were okay into a big can for storage. It was there for a bit and when I opened it the next time, there were bugs! No way! I was so made that I just closed the lid and put it back in the cupboard. So, it has been there for a while. I finally decided to chuck the pasta so I took the can and my trash can outside - no way I want any of those bugs in my house. I opened the can and there were lots of bugs. I dumped the can and there were tons of bugs! I had to take a picture. Keep in mind this is only if you leave them along and let them do their thing. You can see the spots on the pasta that look different - those are worm spots. I ended up just tossing the whole can.
