Friday night movie.

So I said something to the kids about a Friday night activity and they all cheered, "Movie!" I was hoping I could talk them into a game night but they were set on the movie idea. We went to one last Friday on campus - the closest thing we have to a movie theater is a big class room with lots of screens. Since the movie the school was showing tonight was not kid friendly, I decided to go ahead and set it up at home. Yes, there is set up invloved. We don't have a television set. We brought our small projector here but I don't leave it set up all the time. Since being here, I have only set it up once before. As much as my kids like watching movies, it just isn't worth it because right after the movie is done they ask for another one and then cry beause they can't watch another one. And then they seem to be so much more grumpy. Besides, we live on a tropical island with wonderful weather, most of the time, so we should be outside rather than sitting inside watching movies. Maybe if I did spend one entire day just watching movies do you think they'd get over it? Maybe we should go site seeing instead of hanging around the house and the yard. I'll see what I can do about that. It certainly would give me more exciting things to write about.
