Someone asked about Kevin. No, he isn't missing. He's just really busy all the time. He leaves in the morning to go study. Comes home for lunch and to touch base with the kids. Then he heads back to campus to study. He comes home for dinner, sometimes eating with us (if I have it ready on time) and sometimes taking it with him. He comes home to go to bed and then wakes up in the morning to do it all over again.
He has taken two tests so far this semester and has A's or B's in all the subjects. He is planning on pulling the B's up and getting the 4.0 this semester. I'm sure he can do it.
On occassion he'll talk to me about the things he learned. If it's anatomy I'll understand but if it's biochem then I'm just a listening post.
My favorite, other than being together, is that he is still willing to do the grocery shopping. I really got used to him doing that in Alaska - he worked on base and it was really easy for him to just stop at the commissary and pick up what we needed instead of me having to pack up the kids and make the drive to base. Anyway, he stops by the shop on his way home for lunch and sometimes another stop to a different shop on his way home for dinner. I'm so grateful that he is willing to do that for me.
The only other thing I could share about Kevin is that he passed his second kidney stone a few weeks ago. The first one was in Alaska, over 2 1/2 years ago. I'll tell you it wasn't any fun for any of us but we all survived. (I'm sure he'll be excited to see this one!)
